The second issue of a new ecumenical update for Churches Together in Norfolk & Waveney (NWCT) has been published online.

The February 2024 publication is produced by Dr Ian Watson, County Ecumenical Officer for NWCT, who says: “In this edition, as well as finding general information on ecumenism, we have a view on the Society of Friends from the Quaker senior Church leader in NWCT.  There are also some observations on the Week of Prayer for Church Unity from the Chair of Churches Together in Wells, North Norfolk, that includes an inspirational homily on ecumenism by Fr James Walsh.  We also discuss the key elements of ecumenism from scripture and St Paul.  And, last but not least, it includes details of what is happening nationally through Churches Together in England (CTE) and Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI).”

The next edition will be published in April and will include pieces by the departing convenor of NWCT and by the Moderator of the Eastern Baptist Synod, who also is a member of NWCT.  After April the update will be produced quarterly.  If you want to contribute to future editions of the ecumenical update please email the County Ecumenical Officer:
