Norwich dinner invitation for everyday people
How many of your friends have walked in space, been a pop star, served time for murder, raised the dead…? asks Norwich FGB branch president Barrie Lawrence.
"None? Same here!," he says. "Most of my friends are decent people living normal lives, often struggling with everyday problems, and wondering if there might really be more to life.
"John Pugh-Smith, a Norfolk-based barrister, is a decent chap, who like most of us, has struggled with everyday problems – and found the answer lies in Jesus. So if your friends are normal, everyday people, bring them to our dinner meeting on Tuesday November 9, to hear John share his life story.
"And by the way," says Barrie, "one day my wife Wendy had a dreadful headache, bumped into John’s wife Annie, who prayed for it – and it went, instantly, completely. Annie will be with John at the dinner."
The dinner evening is on Tuesday November 9, 7pm for 7.30pm at the Mercure Hotel, Boundary Road, Norwich NR3 2AB. £15 to include a two-course dinner.
