Liz sells artwork for church and baby charity

A new venture aiming to help support two causes that have suffered from the impact of lockdown has been launched by Norfolk artist Liz Meynell.

Liz hopes to sell her paintings to raise money for Sanyu Babies Home in Uganda and her village church in Bergh Apton. She said, "Do have a look at the pictures and why not buy one - Christmas is on the horizon - a present for one, will help others!"

Liz works mainly in oils and with “found materials” particularly the results of beach-combing expeditions, creating works verging on the abstract with subjects varying from the spiritual to ethereal; landscapes of the imagination to figurative. On occasion, she works in other media such as gouache and pastels.

Liz studied under Paul Messali in Switzerland, Simi Studio in Florence and Byam Shaw School of Art in London (now Central St Martins).
